One-way car rental
What is the One-Way Rental Service?
Our one-way rental service allows you to return the rental car at a different location from where you picked it up.
Currently, this service is available only for departures from Kyoto, with drop-off options in the following areas:
Osaka (Kansai Airport / Itami Airport), Fukuoka, Kanazawa, Tokyo
※For drop-offs outside of Osaka, a minimum rental period of 3 days is required.
※If you would like to drop off the vehicle in a location not listed above, please feel free to contact us.

Drop-off fee (from Kyoto to your selected return location)

No need to refuel before returning the car (return it as is)

Unlimited mileage (drive as much as you like with no extra charge)
※Please note: The standard rental fee (varies by car type and rental period) is not included in the one-way package and will be charged separately.
☆ Early Morning Kyoto Station Drop-off Service Now Available! ☆
Good news for customers who wish to drop off their car early in the morning at Kyoto Station.
The drop-off location is conveniently located at the underground parking lot of Avanti, just a short walk from the Hachijo Exit Bus Terminal.
The drop-off fee is ￥5,000.
To accommodate your travel, moving, homecoming, or work plans, you can choose the return locations. The cost will include the regular rental fee plus a one-way fee plus option fee if you choose.

What You Need to Rent a Car

★ ￥50,000 security deposit ( if you are a tourist)

Example 1: Renting a Kai car for 3 days and dropping it off in TOKYO incurs the following costs:
Rental fee \3000 × 3 days = ￥9000 + Excess and NOC coverage fee ￥1000 + One-way drop-off fee ￥60,000 = ￥70,000
Example 2: Renting a midsize car (5-seater) for 1 week, adding optional navigation and ETC card, and dropping it off at Kansai Airport incurs the following costs:
Rental fee ￥27000 (1 week) + Excess and NOC coverage fee ￥3000 + Navigation ￥2000 + ETC card ￥3000 + One-way drop-off fee￥15000 =￥50,000
Example 3: Renting a 2-ton truck for 3 days, adding optional navigation and ETC card, and dropping it off at Kanazawa incurs the following costs:
Rental fee ￥9500 × 3 days =￥28500 + Navigation￥2000 + ETC card￥3000 + One-way drop-off fee￥60,000 =￥93,500

We offer a set of moving supplies for customers renting a 2-ton truck:
Two plywood sheets
Cargo securing straps
Four folding boxes (two large, two small)
One hand truck
Three protective cushioning mats

★ Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel between 48 hours and 24 hours before pick-up, a 50% rental fee will be charged.
If you cancel within 24 hours before pick-up, the full rental fee (100%) will be charged.
★ The rental age eligibility is 21 years old and above, so please be aware of this requirement.
★ Our office hours are from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, seven days a week. However, please note that there may not be staff available if you arrive at our office earlier than your scheduled booking time. We appreciate your punctuality. Early check-in (8:00 AM and later) incurs an additional charge of ¥1,000.
★We ask that all customers pay in advance. (Credit card :VISA,MASTER,AMEX, PayPay, Bank transfer.）
★ Our office is 15 minutes’ walk from KATSURAGAWA Station (East exit) on the JR Kyoto line.
JR KATSURAGAWA Station is 2 stops away from JR Kyoto Station.
★ For those planning to come directly to our office, we offer a complimentary pick-up service from JR Katsuragawa, Hankyu Katsura or Hankyu Rakusaiguchi. please click here for more details.
